Yearbook - Week 16 & 17: 5/11-5/18

As we wrap up our time together, I would like for you to take a look back and also a look forward at the importance of your role. Review the details here to craft a personal essay about your yearbook experience. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you again for all that you do!


Format: Google Doc, double-spaced, point size 12, standard copy font

Length: minimum of two pages typed, but it may be longer

Audience: me, current staff, new staff members, other yearbook advisers

Purpose: self-reflection as well as promotion and training of new staff members


Google Drive and Classroom Forum: (5pts) Due Tuesday, May 12

Create a new Google Doc in your yearbook folder titled, “2020 LASTNAME Yearbook Personal Reflection.” Start by outlining your ideas in response to each question. Create a new post titled, “Week 16: Reflection Essay Outline” and paste the shareable link to your Google Doc when it is ready for review.


Classroom Forum: (5pts) Due Thursday, May 14

Create a new post titled, “Week 16: Reflection Essay Rough Draft” and repost the shareable link when you have organized your ideas into paragraph form with a clear introduction, main body, and conclusion.


Classroom Forum: (5pts) Due Week 17 Monday, May 18

Create a new post titled, “Week 17: Personal Reflection,” and post the link a final time when you have corrected all grammatical errors, expanded on all details, and ensured you have a clear and identifiable flow.
