Yearbook - Week 15: 5/4-5/5/8

Updated: May 7, 2020

DUE MONDAY 5/4 - FINAL SUPPLEMENT DEADLINE!!!!!!! (10pts)

Today is it, ladies. Our final deadline of the year has arrived. By 11:59 PM EDT our supplement pages will need to be ready for print and the 2020 Tally-ho! will be complete.

I have granted each of you access to all of the pages in eDesign. Be sure to prioritize the completion of your own pages first and complete one last round of email communications for missing information or needed clarifications. Now, more than ever is our time to work as a team. Please then move through each page and read every line of text. Check for grammatical errors and ensure that all captions are complete with photo credits. Remember you can use “Photo provided by...”. Determine ways you can work more dramatically with color and maintain our consistent and creative use of circles. Check alignment from pages left to right as well as top to bottom and ensure we maintain our internal and external margins. Feel free to leave comments for anyone on each of their pages, but you may also edit directly as needed.

Google Drive: Due Friday 5/8

I am thrilled to let you know that the Herff Jones factory has reopened and our main book and supplement are currently printing as we speak! We will have one box shipped directly here before the last day of classes so that students still here on campus can take their copy home! I will be shipping out all of the senior books, and of course, our staffer books as well as soon as they arrive. We will plan for a distribution day for our remaining books in the Fall. I know I have said this many times before, but I really do appreciate the hard work you have put towards making this year’s book truly remarkable. You play an important role in securing the history of our great school and doing it in a professional and visually vibrant manner. The book looks stunning, and I truly can’t wait to see it in print.

As we wrap up our time together, I would like for you to take a look back and also a look forward at the importance of your role. Review the details here to craft a personal essay about your yearbook experience. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you again for all that you do!
