How to care for Pumpkins:
Pumpkins need a lot of water, but not too much or the roots will rot! They need about an inch of water at a time. The leaves on the pumpkin plant can look wilted in the afternoon sun, but the soil can still be moist so there is no need to worry.
How to Harvest Pumpkins:
Cut the stem/vine of the pumpkin with pruning shears, leaving several inches of the stem on the pumpkin. Be sure to harvest before a heavy frost because it can damage the pumpkin!
