Bell peppers won’t produce a lot of fruit if the temperatures aren’t between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
How to Harvest Green Peppers:
The peppers will sweeten the longer you let them be on the plant. Pick them when they’re full sized and have a thick flesh.
Cut off pepper using a sharp knife or pair of scissors and make sure to do it gently to not disturb the rest of the plant.
Wash and wipe it off and the pepper can be in the refrigerator up to a week.
