Water kale regularly, but do not overwater. Put mulch around the base of the plant.
How to harvest kale:
Kale is ready to be harvested when the leaves are the size of your hands. Do not pick the Terminal Bud (top center of the plant) because it will stop the production of kale. Store in a refrigerator for up to a week.
