The quote that stood out to me the most from Rivers and Tides. was, "We often forget that we ARE nature." I really liked this quote because it is so true. As people, we forget that we play one of the biggest roles in nature. My favorite piece by Andy Goldsworthy is the one where he has wrapped icicles around a tree. I love how the light reflects off of the ice, making it very emphasized and drawing your eyes to it. I also love the use of lines in the icicles.
