What stood out to me was when Sally Mann said that when she went on a trip and took pictures she could only remember what the picture looked like. I thought this was a good message because she illustrated that sometimes you are not really living and seeing in the present, but you are looking to far in the past or future to see whats happening. Especially now, during COVID-19, I think it is important to live in the present and not look too far into the future or the past. With my experiences taking photographs I connect a lot with what she said. Sometimes I don't remember the moment I just remember the photograph. When I go on trips, I take a lot of pictures. Once I go on another trip the previous trip is faded in my mind, all I have left is the photo from the trips and those are how I remember the moments.
