One lesson I have learned is "If you're struggling with procrastination, make a plan." I struggle with falling into a vicious cycle of berating myself for not getting any work done and feeling too low to actually get work done, and I find that if I make a list of everything I need to do, it makes me feel productive and it refocuses my mind on the things I need to get done, which breaks the cycle.
My proposed photograph to represent this is an empty worksheet from a class, on top of which I will write "if you're struggling with procrastination", and then I will have my to-do whiteboard next to it with a list of items and then write next to those items, "make a plan."
This is a very cool idea! I was thinking maybe you could have somebody actually writing on the list while you take a picture?
I really like this idea. I think you will have to get creative with how you get the words that you want to stand out to stand out but I think if you find a good way to make them obvious it will be really cool.
Hi Johanna! I think this will be a very cool and unique effect, by having the paper and whiteboard complementing each other. I think you'll' have to get the aperture just right, because if not you may not see the words on both of them if they is going to be a long depth of field. Also, consider the size the words will be, they will be, will the list to do be smaller than make a plan? Will the worksheet words have a small font. Maybe can use a timer on your camera and pose with the paper with the whiteboard right behind you, that way they see both.
