Vietnam Veterans Memorial is designed by Maya Ying Lin, the niece of Huiyin Lin who’s a great Architect I admire. This memorial is a wonderful artwork itself. In addition to memorizing the soldiers died in the war, the reflections show its spiritual function by being involved into the sights in reality. A pretty art peace brings positive mood at the first view.

This basket is made of cartons, block print, and stables. One thing interesting is that using this trash the artist makes each piece joined into the job looking like a basket. There’s even consecutive pictures on its surface, which makes the artwork perfect seeing from a distance.

You did a great job capturing the mirrored effect of the Vietnam Memorial and its interaction with the surroundings.
