I think your idea is really cool! When editing could you play with the levels to make the picture look sharper?
I think you represented your message very well! The blocks were a great idea.
My eye is naturally drawn to the word 'grow' first. You could possibly put 'failure' on something above the other words, or put them to the left and do a wide angle shot for a different progression?
