For me, nature means the combination of every natural thing on Earth, such as wildlife, plants, water. Because I consider the human as a part of nature, I could connect to the nature by any action such as consuming food, hiking, walking the parks. For eating food, I am a consumer of energy producers (vegetables, fruits, fish, eggs, milk, beef, etc.). So farms and agriculture are essential energy sources for us. From the film, I relearned that we could not survive without the support of nature. Although the power of science had significant influence over nature, every part of nature take care and fix the balance of each species. Overpopulation of specific species due to human actions creates disadvantages for our daily life. This is why a human cannot be completely independent of nature: we benefit from nature. Therefore, I think we are responsible for taking care of local places.
One of the ideals to encourage local people to preserve the local nature is that educate the importance of the local environment for our daily life. For adults, the specific data which shows how we dependent on the local environment might inspire adult. Early education about the environment might work for little kids, so they would know how we get food or pure water.
In the film, they constantly faced many problems as they farm with a traditional system. However, they always use natural sources to solve issues such as place specific animals in the field. From that, I learned that it is much better to fix the problems in nature with natural sources because it is more likely to preserve the balance in the environment.
