I love your choice of image but maybe next time you could try adding some color by putting some bugs or small animals in there. Even just coloring the river or trees!
I really like your approach only using black and white. Maybe we could use this by importing it on to adobe and only making the object focussed on in color to make it stand out.
I think that the tracing is really cool, it give you a great visual of the color changes with out any color! You could try and get the general color idea of areas then use blend tool to make it look more life like.
This image was made using the Adobe Capture App, which only traces using black and white, but thank you for all of your comments regarding color! We were trying to get creative with tracing since the Illustrator desktop version is not supported by Tess' computer. The great thing is that your team could use an image like this as a great starting point. They could use the direct selection tool to grab the shapes and change the fill color.
I like how detailed this is, but I do agree with everyone else. I think it would be cool if you put some color in the background. Meaning, not using the color image trace panel, but adding layers with different color behind your image you already have.
I think this is really cool! I love that you only used black and white. For projects that have to do with Goose Creek maybe more colors would be a good way to get younger kids interested- the black and white could be really awesome for other projects!
I think this is a great start for you and maybe next time you can try to use the colored version of the picture, and that way you can also change the amount of colors in there as well..

I agree with Joy. The picture has very clear details but it'll be nicer if you use several colors.
